My mission: help women in mid-life get more from what's already on their plate — with small, science-backed shifts designed for the female body, not marketed at it.

I’m Karin Hermoni, PhD — a molecular nutrition scientist who helps supplement and foodtech companies build products with real scientific depth, and helps women navigate mid-life with science that finally speaks their language.

Karin Hermoni, PhD

Having spent two decades in the dietary supplement industry, leading science and innovation, and running clinical trials - I became acutely aware that most nutrition research was conducted on men and built for male physiology. This left a gap exactly where women need answers most: when navigating hormonal changes, both across the month and across a lifetime. Because hormones don't just shape what we crave - they change how our bodies absorb, use, and respond to the same nutrients.
I've been researching plant bioactives and hormonal balance since early in my PhD. But when I began experiencing perimenopause myself ( in parallel with my daughters entering the opposite side of this hormonal transition) the work became personal. It grew into a mission: to help the industry design products for women, not marketed at them, and to translate molecular nutrition into everyday practice for the women navigating this chapter.

Simple, sustainable, science-led

Most nutrition research was built for male physiology — leaving a gap exactly where women need answers most, in perimenopause and menopause. My framework is simple. No strict rules, no fear.

Food

With small, science-backed tweaks that help what we're already eating work harder as our biology recalibrates

Supplementation

With precision and deep understanding of the female operating system

Ritual & mind

The everyday practices that help us listen to what the body is telling us, in the midst of change

Nourishment for women in mid-life
Why women, why now

Science that finally speaks women’s language

For decades, nutrition guidance treated women as smaller men. I translate molecular nutrition into everyday practice for the years when it matters most — so you feel informed, not overwhelmed.
